PaCkEt SwItChInG nEtWoRkS

deez packet networks are like things that messages get split up into. English much; the sending computer sends deez packets to its router which den looks at the IP (pronounced eye-pee) address and sends it on to the next available router on the network. the packets can take different routes depending on traffic, network traffic. IT MAY NOT EVEN BE RECIEVED IN THE SAME ORDER!!!!!  horrendous! the receiver then puts it into the right order and makes sure all packages has arrived.


also different hosts or users may be using the same network devices at the same time. breaking data into packets prevents long messages from holding up others messages. thanks to packets multiple communications can happen at the same time
